About the Role
Tulsija & Associates is seeking a Chartered Accountancy Articleship Trainee for an on-site internship in Ahmedabad. This role provides an opportunity to assist in various aspects of a Chartered Accountancy firm's operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting internal audits.
- Review financial records.
- Prepare working papers under guidance.
- Support statutory and tax compliance activities.
- Assist with documentation for Income Tax, GST, PF, ESIC, and other regulatory filings.
- Participate in management consultancy and advisory assignments.
- Perform data analysis.
- Prepare reports.
- Contribute to process improvement recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to professional standards.
- Actively learn firm methodologies and applicable laws.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Comfort working with accounting or ERP software.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and auditing fundamentals.
- Understanding of financial statements and basic internal controls.
- Skills in tax and regulatory compliance, with interest in Income Tax, GST, PF, ESIC, and other relevant statutes.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and support practical recommendations.
- Effective communication and documentation skills, including clear report writing and professional interaction.
- Enrollment in the Chartered Accountancy course (IPCC/Intermediate cleared or as per applicable regulations).
- Prior internship or practical exposure in a CA firm is an added advantage.
