About the Role
The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a 2027 Intern - Community, Engagement & Development for their Houston office. This is a full-time, temporary, paid summer internship.
About Your Team
This team focuses on connecting with external expertise, gathering and analyzing economic information, and informing the Dallas Fed's understanding of the 11th District economy. This internship will have the ability to specifically focus on the banking or energy sectors.
What You'll Do
- Speak with business and community leaders about current economic conditions.
- Follow trends in banking, energy, and the broader economy to help identify priority issues for outreach discussions.
- Draft summaries and briefs to relay policy-relevant information to senior leaders.
- Support the planning and execution of outreach meetings and programs.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to track, analyze, and improve outreach effectiveness.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate coursework focusing on economics, business, public policy, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written writing skills.
- General understanding of economics.
- Intellectual curiosity.

Work Hours
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week). Some additional hours may be required.
