About the Role
We are hiring immediately for full time and part time DISHWASHER positions at Marywood University.
- Location: 2300 Adams Avenue, Scranton, PA 18509
- Schedule: Full time and part time schedules available. Days and hours may vary. Weekends included. Flexible.
- Pay Range: $12.99 - $13.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, and wash them by hand or by machine.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers. Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Assist with loading and unloading supplies and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Prior dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
