About the Role
Faveo Helpdesk is seeking enthusiastic Golang Developer Interns to support its engineering team. This internship offers hands-on experience in developing backend services and APIs for the Faveo Helpdesk platform, working closely with experienced developers to build scalable and maintainable backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining backend components using Golang.
- Learn to integrate third-party APIs into backend systems.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code under guidance.
- Understand and follow secure coding practices.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
- Help document features and technical processes.
- Support the team in debugging and fixing issues.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic understanding of Golang (academic or self-learned projects).
- Familiarity with concepts like REST APIs, version control (Git), and backend development.
- Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team and take feedback constructively.
- Good communication and willingness to ask questions.
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
- Exposure to Linux/macOS/Windows development environments.
- Basic understanding of GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, or open-source contributions.
- Familiarity with PHP (especially Laravel) is a bonus.
