Role Description

This is a part-time, remote Cloud Engineer (Entry-Level) role. The Cloud Engineer will assist in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure under the guidance of senior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting basic cloud configuration.
• Helping manage Linux-based systems.
• Performing routine checks on application performance and availability.
• Working with databases.
• Documenting technical processes.
• Collaborating with software developers and other stakeholders to ensure stable and secure environments.

Qualifications

• Foundational skills in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, with an interest in learning cloud architecture and services.
• Basic understanding of Linux systems administration and command-line tools.
• Introductory knowledge of Databases, including basic queries and data management concepts.
• Exposure to Software Development practices, such as version control, scripting, or working with APIs.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to follow established procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage time, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
• Relevant coursework, certifications (e.g., cloud provider fundamentals), or internships in IT or related fields are beneficial.
• Interest in continuous learning and staying current with cloud technologies and best practices.
