About the Role

Podkast Productions is seeking a full-time, on-site Video Editor based in Hyderabad. This role involves assembling and editing raw footage into polished videos for brand campaigns, social media content, podcasts, and event coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize assets and sync audio.
• Apply transitions, basic effects, and color correction.
• Ensure videos align with the creative brief and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and designers.
• Incorporate feedback efficiently.
• Prepare export-ready files for multiple platforms and formats.
• Support content planning by suggesting visual ideas.
• Stay updated on editing trends.
• Maintain an organized project workflow.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing for marketing, branding, and social media content.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading.
• Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Experience with basic audio editing tools.
• Solid understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, and export settings for web, social media, and broadcast platforms.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret creative briefs and work under deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional creative teams.
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing, color grading, and motion graphics work.
• Experience in commercial or branded content is an advantage.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, visual communication, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience is also valued.
• Freshers are welcome to apply, especially those with relevant project experience and a strong willingness to learn.
