About the Role
This is a trainee position for a Medical Coder.
Key Responsibilities
- Review Medical Records: Analyze patients medical documents to ensure all information is accurate and complete for coding.
- Assign Codes: Use appropriate coding systems such as ICD, CPT, and HCPCS to assign correct codes based on the patients' conditions and treatment.
- Ensure Compliance: Follow legal and regulatory guidelines to maintain coding accuracy and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with doctors and other healthcare workers to clarify any discrepancies in documentation and coding.
- Maintain Patient Confidentiality: Protect patient information by adhering to privacy laws and policies in all coding practices.
- Stay Updated: Continuously learn about changes in medical coding standards and healthcare regulations to maintain coding skills and accuracy.
Requirements & Tech Stack

Qualifications
- Background in healthcare, such as BDS, B.Pharma, B.Sc, B.E, or BVSC is preferred.
