About the Role
Rolling Energy is seeking a full-time, on-site Project Engineer, Solar Battery Energy Storage Systems based in the Pune Division. This role supports the end-to-end engineering and execution of solar and battery energy storage projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting system design and equipment selection.
- Preparing technical documentation.
- Reviewing site assessments.
- Preparing layouts and single-line diagrams.
- Coordinating with internal teams and vendors.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety requirements.
- Participating in project planning and scheduling.
- Monitoring installation progress.
- Assisting in testing, commissioning, and performance optimization of systems.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Maintaining accurate project records.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of engineering practices and processes.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- AutoCAD
- PV design software
- Basic electrical calculation methods
- Knowledge of solar PV systems
- Knowledge of battery energy storage technologies
- Knowledge of power systems
- Proficiency with design and engineering tools.
- Experience in project execution.
- Experience with site coordination.
- Experience with contractor and vendor management.
- Experience with adherence to safety standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry codes.
- Ability to prepare clear engineering documentation and reports.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Readiness to work on-site at project locations within the Pune Division.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in electrical or renewable energy engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Prior experience in solar EPC projects or energy storage systems is an advantage.
