About the Role

A full-time, on-site Safety Officer role based in the Pune District, overseeing daily safety activities at project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Conduct site inspections.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems are in place.
• Organize and deliver safety training sessions.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
• Lead accident and incident investigations to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and workers to promote a strong safety culture.
• Support continuous improvement in health, safety, and security practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• DIS or ADIS
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Accident Investigation skills (incident reporting, root cause analysis, implementation of corrective and preventive actions).
• Safety Training skills (conducting toolbox talks, safety orientations, and ongoing awareness programs).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on-site in varying environmental conditions.
• Attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to hazard identification.

Qualifications

• ADIS
• Relevant certifications or diplomas in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Safety, or related fields are preferred.
• Experience/Freshers in construction or infrastructure projects, particularly in on-site safety management, is beneficial.
