Role Description

The Young Professional-I will support ongoing research and development activities related to oilseed crops at ICAR-IIOR in Hyderabad. This full-time, on-site role typically involves assisting in field experiments, laboratory analyses, data collection, and documentation under the guidance of scientific staff. The position may include preparing reports, maintaining research records, and supporting project-related administrative tasks. The Young Professional-I is expected to collaborate with the research team, follow institutional protocols, and contribute to achieving project milestones within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Sciences, Life Sciences, or a closely related discipline.
• Skills in basic research methods, including data collection, data entry, and preparation of reports or summaries.
• Ability to work in field and laboratory settings.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate records of experiments.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical notes and communicate with team members.
• Basic computer proficiency, including use of office productivity tools and simple data analysis software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a research team.
