About the Role
Mukkamala & Associates is seeking a dedicated Articled Assistant to join our firm in Hyderabad. This is a full-time position offering exposure to diverse areas of accounting, audit, and taxation. You’ll work directly with the principal Chartered Accountant and gain hands-on experience that will build a strong foundation for your career in the profession.
What You’ll Learn & Do
As an Articled Assistant, you'll gain valuable experience in key functional areas, including:
- Direct & Indirect Taxation: Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax, GST, and TDS returns for individuals and businesses.
- Audit & Compliance: Participate in internal and statutory audits, examining financial records and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- GST & TDS Filings: Prepare and review GST returns, perform reconciliations, and support accurate and timely TDS filings.
- Financial Reporting: Help prepare tax computations, provisions, and financial statements in compliance with applicable standards.
- Bank CMA Reports: Collaborate on Credit Monitoring Arrangements, conducting ratio analysis and compiling financial data for loan assessments.
- Tax Research & Planning: Conduct research on tax laws and contribute to tax-saving strategies and advisory support.
- Client Engagement: Assist in addressing client queries and delivering high-quality service across assignments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- CA Inter cleared (both groups)
- Bachelor’s degree completed in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Working knowledge of Direct and Indirect Tax Laws, accounting principles, and statutory requirements
- Proficient in Tally or Zoho Books, and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling numbers and compliance documents
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines
- A strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
