About the Role
Weaver is seeking an Audit Associate to join our growing firm. This role involves performing audit procedures as assigned on engagements and contributing to the completion of audit engagements. You will work closely with Senior Associates and Managers to identify and resolve issues encountered in financial statement audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform audit procedures as assigned on engagements.
- Help complete audit engagements.
- Work closely with Senior Associates and Managers to identify and resolve issues.
- Develop effective and clear work paper techniques.
- Assist with financial statement preparation.
- Develop a plan for your own professional development with your group leader.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA candidate
- Internship or light experience in public accounting
- Basic familiarity with GAAP and GAAS
