About the Role

• This full-time position is part of GCB's Summer Internship Program, scheduled from Monday, May 17th through Friday, July 23rd, potentially extending through mid-August.
• Interns must participate in a Final Internship Presentation in New Orleans on Thursday, July 22nd.
• Candidates must be available for the full duration of the program.
• The Trust & Wealth Management intern will participate in wealth management operations and various department initiatives, contributing to projects and gaining knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly deliverables summarizing market developments and economic trends.
• Research allowable fixed-income securities for the bank’s investment portfolio.
• Support portfolio monitoring through data analysis.
• Update Excel spreadsheets and reports as needed.
• Complete a comprehensive research project on an assigned topic.
• Interact with professionals both internally and externally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.
• Business Majors preferred.
• Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel if required.
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
• Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required.
