SEC Audit Associate

About the Role

Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP is seeking driven, passionate, and collaborative individuals to join our growing SEC Audit practice. This position will be based in our Salt Lake City office. The group start date will be early September 2027. Our Public Company Practice specializes in providing audit and assurance services to industries including SaaS, technology, software, and life sciences.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings and engagement planning meetings
• Participate in all phases of the audit process including testing, reviews, and examinations
• Apply analytical and technical skills to complete audit workpapers and procedures
• Research and analyze financial statement and audit related issues
• Collaborate with a diverse group of talented audit professionals

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Utilize an understanding of PCAOB and generally accepted auditing standards, common audit procedures, and techniques

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor's and/or Master's program with a concentration in accounting
• Final graduation date of August 2027 or prior
• Educational requirements for CPA licensure completed prior to start date
• Minimum GPA of 3.2, with "B" grades or above in accounting courses and a higher major GPA preferred
• Demonstrates clear, professional written and oral communication

The position may require participation in offsite events and activities involving extended periods of standing and walking. It may also require extended periods of sitting and the ability to transport materials weighing up to 10 pounds.

Attendance at firm-sponsored onboarding is required during the first week of employment, which may include overnight travel and hotel stays. Eligible travel expenses will be covered.

Salary Range

• $71,000 - $83,000
