About the Role

The Co-Founder (Net Zero Finance Solutions) will assume a key leadership position in developing and scaling climate-focused financial products and services within Net Zero Think. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing net-zero finance solutions for corporate, institutional, and public sector clients.
• Leading financial modeling and climate risk assessments.
• Collaborating with sustainability and technical teams to align financial offerings with emissions reduction strategies.
• Building strategic partnerships with financial institutions, investors, and key stakeholders.
• Driving business development and revenue growth.
• Representing the company in client engagements, conferences, and industry forums.
• Defining the long-term vision and setting operational priorities.
• Building a high-performing team to deliver innovative, credible, and impactful climate finance solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Analytical Skills: Experience in financial modeling, data interpretation, and climate or sustainability-related analysis.
• Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex financial and climate concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Sales and Marketing Skills: For developing go-to-market strategies, nurturing client relationships, and growing climate finance offerings.
• Research Skills: To stay current on climate policy, sustainable finance regulations, carbon markets, and emerging net-zero methodologies.
• Advanced understanding of sustainable finance, ESG investing, or climate risk management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience: Ability to co-create strategy, build teams, and operate in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
• Comfort working in a hybrid setup in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in banking, consulting, impact investing, or climate solutions is highly beneficial.
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or related fields.
• Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
• Flexibility to attend in-person meetings, client sessions, and stakeholder events as needed.
