Control Engineers

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Control Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Control Engineer will design, develop, and implement control systems for winding and related machinery, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and configure motion control systems.
• Integrate robotics where applicable.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to optimize machine performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot control-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support commissioning and testing activities on the shop floor.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in Process Control, including control system design, tuning, and optimization.
• Solid Electrical Engineering skills, with knowledge of control circuits, sensors, actuators, and industrial automation components.
• Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing control, electrical, and system-level issues on production machinery.
• Motion Control skills, including experience with servo drives, VFDs, PLCs, and CNC controllers.
• Robotics-related skills, such as integrating robotic systems with machine controls and ensuring safe operation.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering fields.
• Experience in industrial automation, machine manufacturing, or production equipment integration is highly beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
