Pay Range: $50.74
Position Summary
A newly graduated RN shall practice under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. The new grad RN will be precepted in the provision of safe, cost-effective care to the patient population according to established MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center Nursing Standards of Practice, and the utilization of the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of the patient.
Key Responsibilities
- Practice under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
- Perform functions delegated by the supervising registered nurse, as long as the new grad RN is capable and has learned the necessary theory and clinical practice.
- Provide safe, cost-effective care to the patient population.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- California RN license
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) certification
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program
