Overseas Education Counsellor

About the Role

AR GLOBAL HUB is a global education consultancy. This is a full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end guidance to students seeking higher education opportunities abroad, with a focus on destinations such as the UK and Canada.
• Conduct student consultations and assess academic profiles.
• Recommend suitable universities and programs.
• Explain admission requirements.
• Assist with application forms and documentation.
• Coordinate visa processes.
• Guide students through standardized test preparation options such as IELTS.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Follow up with prospective students and parents.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth application and admission experience.
• Stay updated on international education policies, university deadlines, and scholarship opportunities.
• Deliver clear, professional communication across in-person meetings, phone calls, and digital channels.

Qualifications

• Strong student counselling and advisory skills, including the ability to assess academic profiles and recommend suitable overseas education pathways.
• Knowledge of international university admissions processes, documentation requirements, and timelines for destinations such as the UK and Canada.
• Familiarity with visa procedures, compliance requirements, and basic guidelines for student immigration processes.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in regional languages is an advantage.
• Ability to explain IELTS and other test requirements, with experience in or understanding of test preparation support considered beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple student cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfort with using computers, CRM or student management systems, and common office productivity tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in Education, counseling, or related fields is preferred.
• Prior experience in overseas education consulting, academic counseling, or career guidance is an added advantage.
