Software Test Engineer, Manual Tester

About the Role

RTAC is looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of its software applications. The role involves validating business workflows, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to deliver stable, user-friendly products.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Validate application workflows, data accuracy, business rules, and user interfaces.
• Conduct retesting and verify fixes before release.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Understanding of software testing principles and the SDLC/STLC.
• Knowledge of test case design, defect lifecycle, and bug reporting.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.
• Basic understanding of SQL, API testing, and browser developer tools is an advantage.
