Software Solutions Development Program (SDP)
Emerson
About the Role
The Software Solutions Development Program (SDP) is a three-year rotational program designed to develop future technology leaders who can bridge business needs and technical solutions. This program provides hands-on experience in software development while emphasizing strategy, collaboration, system design, and stakeholder engagement. Participants will rotate across multiple technology domains—including connected products, enterprise platforms, analytics, ERP systems, and intelligent automation—gaining a holistic understanding of how technology enables business outcomes. This role is well-suited for individuals interested in growing toward technical leadership, solution ownership, or business-facing technology roles, rather than deep specialization in individual programming tasks. Graduates of this program will be well-positioned for roles such as technology lead, product owner, systems analyst, solution architect, and engineering manager.
