About the Role

The Retail Salesperson is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, working across The Ozeanic Group’s beauty and fashion brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products to create a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain strong product knowledge, demonstrating items, handling inquiries, and providing after-sales support.
• Process transactions, manage billing, and assist with stock replenishment and visual merchandising to keep the store organized and appealing.
• Meet sales targets, support promotional campaigns, and collaborate with team members to ensure a professional and welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to meet targets and drive revenue.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage customers and build long-term relationships.
• Solid Product Knowledge skills, with the ability to learn and explain fragrance and fashion offerings clearly.
• Ideally prior experience in retail, beauty, or fashion environments.
• Familiarity with basic POS and billing systems.
• Demonstrate reliability, professional appearance, and willingness to work flexible hours.
• At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional training in retail or sales is an advantage.
