About the Role
The Healthcare Specialist will support DigiSME’s HR and workforce solutions by providing healthcare-related guidance and training to internal teams and client organizations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct health-related training sessions.
- Support emergency preparedness initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR and product teams to align workplace health practices with organizational policies.
- Advise on workplace health protocols.
- Assist in the development of training materials.
- Respond to health-related queries.
- Coordinate with external healthcare providers or emergency services when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Healthcare-related skills, including EMT and Medicine, with the ability to apply them in workplace and corporate settings.
- Strong Communication and Training skills to deliver health education, conduct workshops, and support staff learning.
- Solid foundation in Healthcare, with an understanding of occupational health, basic life support, and health and safety practices.
- Relevant certifications such as EMT, nursing, paramedical, or other healthcare qualifications are beneficial.
- Experience in corporate, occupational health, or clinic/hospital environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfort with using digital tools and software platforms to document, report, and communicate health-related information.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
