About the Role

As a Chemistry Teacher at PyMio, you will impart profound knowledge in Chemistry to students of various performance levels and foster their interest in scientific topics. This is a full-time position in in-person teaching, located in Gurugram.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning, conducting, and following up on chemistry lessons.
• Creating didactically meaningful teaching materials.
• Conducting practical experiments while adhering to all safety standards.
• Observing learning progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Preparing performance assessments.
• Collaborating closely with colleagues and school management to further develop pedagogical concepts.

Qualifications

• Subject Matter Expertise in Natural Sciences: Profound knowledge in Chemistry Education, Chemistry, and a good understanding of Physics.
• Didactics and Lesson Design: Skilled in structured planning of lessons and developing age-appropriate teaching materials (Lesson Planning, Teaching).
• Communication and Social Skills: Strong communication skills and respectful interaction with students, parents, and colleagues (Communication).
• Formal Qualification: Completed studies in Chemistry, Chemistry Education, or Natural Sciences, along with a teaching qualification or comparable credential.
• Additional Desirable Skills: Experience with experimental teaching, confident application of laboratory and safety regulations, digital media literacy, organizational skills, and high pedagogical motivation.
