Job Title: Sales-Tech Intern

Department: Technology / Quality Assurance

Education

• B.Tech/B.E. (Computer Science/IT), BCA, MCA, or B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT)

Key Responsibilities

• MyGov Project Support: Assist with technical coordination, issue tracking, testing, and resolution follow-ups.
• Website & App Localization Testing: Test multilingual website and mobile app content for accuracy, formatting, UI alignment, broken links, and functional issues.
• Conversational Bot Testing: Test chatbot and voicebot flows, intents, responses, language switching, conversation accuracy, and error handling.
• Quality Assurance: Execute test cases, perform functional and regression testing, document bugs, and validate fixes.
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot basic website, application, API and integration issues, escalating complex problems to the development team.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain test reports, bug trackers, daily status updates, and project documentation.
• Coordination: Work with the Technology, Product and Customer Success teams to ensure timely closure of issues.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

• QA & Functional Testing (25%): Test MyGov and other websites/apps for functionality, localization accuracy, UI issues, and defects.
• Bot Testing & Validation (25%): Test chatbot/voicebot responses, intent accuracy, conversation flows, and language switching.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting (20%): Identify issues, coordinate with technical teams, track resolutions, and validate fixes.
• Issue Tracking & Documentation (15%): Maintain test cases, bug reports, QA documentation, and daily status updates.
• Project Coordination & Timely Delivery (15%): Support MyGov and other projects, follow up on pending issues, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of websites, mobile applications, and software testing.
• Knowledge of manual testing, test cases, bug reporting, and defect lifecycle.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, browser developer tools, APIs, and Postman is preferred.
• Basic understanding of databases/SQL and JSON is an advantage.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when testing multilingual content.
• Ability to learn quickly and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and website debugging.
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman and understanding JSON.
• Understanding of manual testing, regression testing, and test-case preparation.
• Exposure to chatbot and voicebot testing, including intent validation and conversation flows.
• Experience testing multilingual websites and mobile apps, including language accuracy and UI issues.
