About SambalPay

SambalPay is an early-stage fintech venture with a vision to build an intelligent financial platform that understands each user's financial profile and helps them make better financial decisions. Our initial focus is on credit and digital lending, with a broader vision to bring credit products, insurance and wealth management together on one platform. The goal is to build a system that continuously learns from user interactions, improves financial recommendations and delivers better outcomes over time.

We are currently at the pre-product and pre-revenue stage, working on the product roadmap, core architecture and preparation for our Proof of Concept (POC). Our immediate priority is to develop and validate the POC, establish the product foundation and prepare for our first market launch.

About the Role

Co-Founder Partnership: Seeking an active Co-Founder ready to invest, take ownership, and work collaboratively to build SambalPay from the ground up. This opportunity is for someone who believes in solving real consumer problems, understands business building, and is willing to contribute both capital and execution.

Investment & Partnership Structure

• Investment: ₹20–25 Lakh towards POC development and early-stage execution.
• Equity: Ownership in SambalPay, with the equity stake, responsibilities, and partnership terms to be mutually discussed and agreed upon.
• Nature of Opportunity: An active equity-based Co-Founder partnership, not a salaried employment opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute both capital and execution to build SambalPay from the ground up.
• Solve real consumer problems.
• Understand what it takes to build a business.
• Develop and validate the Proof of Concept (POC).
• Establish the product foundation.
• Prepare for the first market launch.
• Bring experience, independent thinking, and long-term commitment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong entrepreneurial mindset.
• Practical experience and the ability to turn ideas into execution.
• Leadership & Execution: Ability to solve problems, build teams, make decisions, and take ownership of key business functions.
• Investment Capacity: Willingness and financial capacity to invest ₹20–25 Lakh towards POC development and early product validation.
• Long-Term Commitment: Genuine interest in joining as an active Co-Founder and building SambalPay into a scalable business.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Graduates from IITs, IIMs, or other Tier-1 institutions are preferred. Candidates with a strong fintech background and a proven track record are equally encouraged.
• Industry Experience: Experience in fintech, digital lending, banking, NBFCs, financial services, technology, or startup building.
• Core Expertise: Strong understanding of product development, business strategy, technology, fintech operations, or business growth.
