This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Chennai. The Video Editor will work closely with creative and production teams to edit raw footage into compelling videos for marketing campaigns, social media, branded content, and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Organizing and assembling footage.
• Selecting music and sound effects.
• Applying transitions and effects.
• Ensuring narrative coherence and visual consistency.
• Performing basic color correction and grading.
• Incorporating motion graphics or titles.
• Preparing videos in multiple formats and aspect ratios for different platforms.
• Managing timelines.
• Maintaining project files.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to refine edits based on feedback while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong Video Production and Video Editing skills.
• Experience with industry-standard editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality, maintain consistency, and support the intended mood and style of each project.
• Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create titles, lower thirds, overlays, and simple animations.
• An eye for visual storytelling, pacing, and sound design, with the ability to translate creative briefs into clear, engaging video content.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field are beneficial; equivalent demonstrated experience is also valued.
• Experience working in a collaborative production environment is preferred.
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously are preferred.
• Familiarity with social media and digital content formats is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of file formats, codecs, and export settings for different platforms is advantageous.
