About the Role
As a Data Scientist Intern at HDR, you will gain real-world experience on exciting projects. You will perform assignments under the direct supervision of a Department Manager, Section Manager, or other professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute towards a variety of data science projects, performing exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model development, and training.
- Develop data and generative AI solutions, including chatbots, geospatial, and geotechnical search facilities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience working with a variety of open source and commercial software, such as Snowflake and Azure AI services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to your field of study/industry.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Preferred: Currently enrolled in a Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related degree.
- Preferred: 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA.
- Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Must have attention to detail.
