About the Role
The Investment Partner role at Sellappappmarket is a hybrid position based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for part-time work from home. The Investment Partner will identify, evaluate, and support investment opportunities in digital and technology-led businesses aligned with Sellappappmarket’s strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing deals
- Conducting market and financial analysis
- Leading due diligence
- Building and reviewing financial models
- Preparing investment proposals and presentations
- Collaborating with founders and internal teams
- Monitoring portfolio performance
- Providing strategic input to improve returns and manage risk
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Finance and Investments skills (understanding of capital structures, valuation methods, and portfolio management concepts)
- Financial Modeling skills (ability to build and interpret cash flow forecasts, scenario analyses, and valuation models)
- Analytical Skills (comfort with quantitative analysis, interpreting data, and translating insights into recommendations)
- Due Diligence skills (experience assessing business models, management teams, legal and compliance risks, and market dynamics)
- Communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in investment firms, venture capital, private equity, corporate strategy, or fintech/digital businesses is beneficial.
- Advanced degree or professional qualification in finance, business, economics, or a related field (e.g., MBA, CFA) is preferred but not mandatory.
