About the Role
The Retail Associate will provide friendly, professional, and technical services to our valued clients, problem-solving and ensuring consistent client satisfaction, resulting in repeat business and referrals.
Key Responsibilities
- Greets and interacts with clients.
- Consults with clients to understand their needs and preferences related to products and services.
- Provides accurate technical and sales services, including water testing and chemical equipment solutions.
- Retrieves merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations; places special orders.
- Collects payment using the store point of sale system and processes returns and exchanges.
- Maintains a clean retail environment, including merchandise displays and adhering to OSHA policies & procedures.
- Participates in stock management activities.
- Promotes Poolwerx home services.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to work various hours including weekends and some holidays.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent active listening skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation
- $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
- Pay based on experience and productivity.
