About the Role
PlanetWise is seeking a Marketing and Business Development intern to connect eco-friendly product suppliers with businesses and consumers. This role provides hands-on experience in building a real-world platform from scratch, supporting supplier onboarding and marketplace operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research sustainable product suppliers (packaging, eco-products, materials)
- Reach out to suppliers via calls, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and email
- Explain marketplace concept and onboard suppliers
- Maintain and update supplier database (Excel / Google Sheets)
- Collect product details, pricing, and categories
- Assist in product listing and marketplace structuring
- Track onboarding progress and coordinate with stakeholders
Qualifications
- MBA (Marketing / Operations / Sustainability preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in speaking with vendors/suppliers
- Good research and analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
- Self-driven and proactive approach
