About the Role
The Structural Engineer will support architectural and design projects by performing structural analysis, preparing calculations, and developing safe, efficient structural solutions in alignment with N’Arc’s design vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with architects and designers.
- Reviewing project concepts.
- Translating concepts into structurally sound systems for buildings, interiors, and landscape elements.
- Creating and reviewing structural drawings and models using CAD tools.
- Coordinating with civil consultants.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Participating in design reviews.
- Providing technical recommendations.
- Supporting project documentation and reporting.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and Calculations.
- Ability to evaluate loads, materials, and safety factors for diverse building types.
- Ability to use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to produce and interpret structural drawings, models, and details.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and best practices, especially those applicable to projects in the Greater Hyderabad Area and broader Indian context.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams.
- Experience communicating technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a studio environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Prior experience in architecture-focused or design-led studios, and familiarity with sustainable or conscious design principles, is an advantage.
