Apprentice

About the Role

The Apprentice role is a full-time, on-site position based at Westin Hyderabad Mindspace in Hyderabad. The apprentice will support daily hotel operations under supervision, rotating through key departments such as front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, and guest services to gain practical hospitality experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with guest check-in and check-out.
• Responding to guest inquiries.
• Supporting restaurant or banquet service.
• Helping maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in guest and public areas.
• Learning standard operating procedures.
• Following safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Using hotel systems.
• Collaborating with team members to deliver consistent, guest-focused service.
• Participating in training sessions.
• Seeking feedback and demonstrating a strong interest in developing a long-term career in hospitality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Comfort using basic computer systems.
• Familiarity with hotel software or POS systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in hospitality, guest service, and hotel operations, with a willingness to learn across multiple departments.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Basic organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and reliability in completing assigned tasks.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and stand or move for extended periods as required by hotel operations.
• Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or tourism coursework is an advantage.
• Team-oriented mindset, positive attitude, and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and professional conduct.
• Prior internship or entry-level experience in hotels, restaurants, or customer service is beneficial but not mandatory.
