About the Role
The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) at Volvo India engages freshly graduated individuals for year-long apprenticeships. This program provides practical training and skills development opportunities within the company’s various functions under Financial Services. It is a structured apprenticeship program designed to train future workforce members.
Key Responsibilities
- Production planning & Control of Machines on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as per plan.
- Conduct Morning Gemba meetings to review the day's production plan.
- Conduct Daily Closure meetings to review and report the performance of the day's production.
- Provide the PPC/MM/WH department with a material shortage list daily and monitor material receipt as per the shortage list.
- Ensure the availability of painted components from the Parts Paint shop to assembly as per plan and manage their inventory.
- Implement and follow up on ECN (Engineering Change Notice) as per the ECN release memo for the availability, implementation, and disposition of parts.
