Content creator and video editor

About the Role

REFURBI is building in the refurbished electronics space and seeks a Content Creator / Video Editor to establish a strong content engine around technology, business, products, and company operations. This role requires taking ownership of content from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot videos & reels
• Edit short-form videos for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms
• Brainstorm content ideas and hooks
• Turn ideas into engaging reels
• Handle shooting, framing, lighting & basic production
• Understand what makes people stop scrolling
• Plan and post content consistently and on time
• Keep an eye on trends and experiment with new formats
• Work directly with the hiring manager to turn business ideas into content

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong video editing skills
• Good understanding of Instagram Reels / short-form content
• Capable of shooting good-quality videos
• Creative thinker with strong content instincts
• Good sense of pacing, hooks, storytelling and music
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
• Someone who follows technology, creators, and social media trends
• Experience with Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve / CapCut / After Effects is a plus

Qualifications

• Comfortable picking up a camera, shooting, editing, and publishing content
• Proactive and able to generate content ideas independently
