Key Responsibilities

• Internship will be focused on applying and building engineering skills in areas such as cloud platform, big data platform, and application development.
• Work will be complemented by quality supervision and mentorship.
• An on-going job performance evaluation will be provided.
• Apply your skills and gain an understanding of the Cargill organization.
• Learn more about Cargill’s diverse businesses through numerous events such as first day orientation, experiential learning activities, and volunteer events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Internship Details

• Program begins January 5, 2026, and runs through the last week of June 2026.
• Interns are paid a monthly stipend.
• Work timings: 12 noon - 9 pm.
• Transport is provided to and from work within the serviceable limit of Bangalore. Pick up and drop-off addresses must be the same.
• Interns demonstrating outstanding performance and curiosity may be offered a full-time Associate Software Engineer position.
• The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and hands-on.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or majors in AI, ML, Cybersecurity, Computing, or other information technology related disciplines.
• Graduating with a degree in June 2026.
• Must provide approval from your institution to complete a 5-6 month internship from early January 2026 through end June 2026.
• Geographically flexible and willing to work onsite multiple days a week at the Bengaluru Capability center.
• Knowledge of basic structured programming, systems analysis and design, database design, and business concepts.
• Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance.
• Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a software engineer intern.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Experience with commercial product software development.
• Demonstrated analytical and technical skills.
