About the Role

Skillzenloop is seeking an enthusiastic Java Developer Intern interested in software development, object-oriented programming, and building reliable applications. This internship offers practical exposure to software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining applications using Java.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following established coding standards.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles when implementing application features.
• Work with Java collections, exception handling, and core programming concepts.
• Assist in developing and testing application modules based on project requirements.
• Write SQL queries and support database integration.
• Help develop and test REST APIs under guidance.
• Identify, debug, and resolve basic software defects.
• Participate in unit testing and application testing activities.
• Use Git and GitHub to manage source code and collaborate.
• Prepare technical documentation and maintain development records.
• Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and implement solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of Java programming.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism, and exception handling.
• Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases is preferred.
• Understanding of Java collections and basic multithreading concepts is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and HTTP fundamentals is preferred.
• Knowledge of Git and GitHub is beneficial.
• Strong logical reasoning, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and software development practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.

Internship Details

• Duration: 1–3 Months
• Stipend: ₹15,000–₹16,000 per month
• Employment Type: Full-time Internship
