Financial Analyst Intern, India

About the Role

Skillzenloop is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst Intern to support financial data analysis, budgeting, reporting, and business performance evaluation. The intern will assist in organizing financial information, preparing reports, analyzing expenses, and identifying trends while gaining practical exposure to financial analysis and business reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from relevant sources.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, summaries, and analytical presentations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense-tracking activities.
• Use Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to organize and analyze financial information.
• Assist in comparing actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, and other financial indicators to identify trends.
• Prepare spreadsheets, charts, and tables to communicate financial findings.
• Assist in reviewing financial records for accuracy and consistency.
• Support basic financial modeling and scenario analysis under guidance.
• Conduct research on industries, markets, and relevant financial trends.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and reporting records.
• Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and reporting objectives.
• Handle financial information responsibly and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of spreadsheet formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis is preferred.
• Familiarity with financial modeling or data visualization is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools is beneficial.
• Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of budgeting, financial statements, and expense management.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Willingness to learn financial analysis techniques and business reporting practices.
• Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Candidates with academic finance projects, budgeting assignments, or Excel-based analytical work are encouraged to apply.

• Stipend: ₹15,000–₹16,000 per month
