About the Role
L M R A & Associates is a professional services firm offering expertise in project finance, direct and indirect taxation, accounting, international taxation, management consultancy, and auditing. The firm supports clients across diverse sectors with tailored financial and advisory solutions, focusing on regulatory compliance, strategic financial planning, and operational efficiency. This is a full-time Internship Trainee role based in Nagpur with a hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with accounting entries.
- Preparing working papers and documentation for audits.
- Supporting tax computations and return preparation for direct and indirect taxes.
- Compiling financial data.
- Conducting basic research on regulations and standards.
- Preparing draft reports and presentations for management consultancy projects.
- Coordinating with team members.
- Maintaining organized records.
- Learning to use relevant software tools under supervision.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Ability to work accurately with numbers and documentation.
- Basic understanding or coursework in taxation (direct, indirect, and international) and an interest in learning applicable laws and regulations.
- Analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software).
- Willingness to learn professional accounting or tax software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present information clearly and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks within deadlines in a hybrid work setting.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or professional course in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in building a career in accounting, taxation, auditing, or financial consultancy.
- Prior internship or project experience is an advantage but not required.
