About the Role

• The AI Intern will support the development and optimization of AI-powered workflows used in visual effects production.
• Focus areas include Roto-Keying, Match Move, Prep & Paint, and Rotomation.
• This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
• Offers hands-on exposure to real-world film and TV projects and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in data preparation.
• Aid in training and testing models.
• Document processes.
• Collaborate with artists and engineers to improve tool performance and usability.
• Analyze production challenges and propose AI-based enhancements.
• Participate in quality checks to ensure outputs meet studio standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with programming or scripting (e.g., Python).
• Basic data handling for training, testing, and evaluating models.
• Interest in visual effects, post-production, or digital media.
• Willingness to learn processes such as Roto-Keying, Match Move, Prep & Paint, and Rotomation.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of AI, machine learning, or computer vision, with the ability to apply these concepts to practical production workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Professional approach to working in a structured, on-site studio environment.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Animation, VFX, Data Science, or a related field.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining security, accuracy, and quality in line with international production standards.
• Prior project or internship experience in AI, VFX, or related domains is a plus but not mandatory.
