About the Role
Engineers PG is seeking a proactive and organised Strategic Business Manager to improve business performance, streamline operations, strengthen customer relationships, and drive growth across their PG properties. This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy working with people, analysing business performance, managing responsibilities independently, and implementing ideas.
Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Growth
- Identify opportunities to improve occupancy, revenue, and profitability.
- Analyse market trends, competitors, and pricing.
- Recommend practical business improvements.
Customer Relationship Management
- Manage customer enquiries, follow-ups, bookings, and tenant relationships.
- Improve customer satisfaction, retention, and referrals.
- Coordinate complaint resolution and collect customer feedback.
Financial Management
- Track rent collections, deposits, expenses, and outstanding payments.
- Maintain financial records and prepare regular reports.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor business performance.
Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate with PG managers, vendors, and service teams.
- Monitor room availability, maintenance, and day-to-day operations.
- Improve processes and ensure tasks are completed on time.
Business Development
- Explore new customer acquisition channels and referral partnerships.
- Identify corporate accommodation opportunities.
- Support marketing initiatives and track lead conversions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Candidates with 0–3 years of experience; fresh graduates with the right skills are welcome.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working with numbers, Excel, and reports.
- Proactive, accountable, and willing to take ownership.
- Interested in learning business management and growing with the company.
- Own laptop and a two-wheeler with a valid driving licence are preferred.
Compensation
- Salary up to ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
