About the Role

Chiti Design is seeking a Video Editor to join their in-house team full-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit Reels, YouTube content, and campaign videos for clients in the restaurant, café, fashion, and wellness industries.
• Transform raw footage into engaging short-form content by focusing on pacing, hooks, sound design, and captions.
• Collaborate with the content and design team on concepts.
• Manage multiple client projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Stay updated on trending formats, transitions, and audio to ensure current content.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Premiere Pro / Adobe Creative Suite
• AI for video production, Voice overs, Claude, Higgsfield, Google
• Motion graphics / After Effects (Bonus)

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience editing for social media (agency, brand, or freelance).
• A strong understanding of pacing and rhythm in video editing.
• Ability to work with diverse brand tones.
• Experience collaborating with Graphic Designers, Social Media Managers, and Creative Heads.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to participate in meetings, planning sessions, and photoshoots.
• Experience using AI to expedite the editing process.

Internship Role

Chiti Design is looking for an intern to assist with video editing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in editing Reels, YouTube content, and campaign videos for clients in the restaurant, café, fashion, and wellness industries.
• Help transform raw footage into engaging short-form content by focusing on pacing, hooks, sound design, and captions.
• Work closely with the content and design team on concepts.
• Support the team with multiple client projects in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Stay updated on trending formats, transitions, and audio to ensure current content.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of video editing experience (college projects, personal reels, freelance, or agency exposure).
• Working knowledge of Premiere Pro / Adobe Creative Suite.
• A developing understanding of pacing and rhythm in video editing.
• Willingness to adapt to varied brand tones.
• Comfortable collaborating with Graphic Designers, Social Media Managers, and the Creative Head.
• Curiosity in using AI tools to speed up the editing process.
• Ability to participate in meetings, planning sessions, and photoshoots.
