About the Role
The Documentation Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving documentation that supports FlowMatic AI’s products, services, and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft clear technical and process documentation, including user guides, API references, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, customer success, and marketing teams to gather information, validate accuracy, and ensure documentation aligns with business goals and user needs.
- Organize and update documentation repositories.
- Standardize formats and templates.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards.
- Review existing content, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance clarity, usability, and accessibility for diverse audiences.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Documentation tools and platforms: Proficiency in Confluence, Notion, Wiki systems, or similar.
- Version control practices: Familiarity with.
Qualifications
- Strong documentation skills, including experience creating structured and comprehensive documentation for products, processes, or services.
- Technical documentation and technical writing skills to translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly content.
- Clinical documentation experience (if applicable), with the ability to follow industry standards and ensure accuracy in regulated or specialized domains.
- Analytical skills to research, interpret technical information, and validate content for consistency and correctness.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Technical Communication, English, Information Technology, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Experience documenting SaaS, AI, or automation products is a plus.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies is a plus.
