About the Role

Smile Experts Dental Clinic is seeking a full-time, on-site General Dentist to join their patient-focused practice in the Mohali district.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental examinations.
• Diagnose dental conditions.
• Provide preventive and restorative treatments, including fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, crowns, and basic periodontal care.
• Develop patient treatment plans.
• Explain procedures and treatment options to patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Contribute to a positive and respectful clinic environment.
• Participate in case discussions.
• Support patient education on oral hygiene.
• Stay current with clinical best practices and continuing education.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Recognized dental degree (BDS or equivalent).
• Valid dental license/registration to practice.
• Compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Clinical proficiency in core general dentistry procedures:
• Examinations
• Restorative treatments
• Extractions
• Basic endodontic care
• Basic periodontal care
• Strong diagnostic and treatment planning abilities.
• Sound clinical judgment and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to infection control and patient safety.
• Ability to maintain accurate dental records and documentation.
• Ability to work full time on-site in the Mohali district.
• Ability to manage a steady patient schedule and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Interest in continuous learning.
• Openness to new techniques and technologies.
• Participation in relevant professional development.
• Experience in a clinical practice setting or internship is beneficial.
• Exposure to cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or dental emergencies is a plus.
