About the Role
- This is a full-time, unpaid, onsite role located at Fremont, CA.
- Open for Fall 2026, Winter, and Spring 2027 semesters.
- Opportunity to gain work experience in 3D design or the Aerospace Industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems for drones.
- Designing drone aircraft parts in 3D that can be printed.
- Using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for machine design.
- Participating in research and development (R&D) projects.
- Managing project timelines and deliverables.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- 3D design software knowledge, experience, and interest.
- Computer-Aided Design (CAD) proficiency.
- SolidWorks preferred.
- Any one of the 3D design software is acceptable.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering skills and previous project experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with the drone or aerospace industry is a plus.
- Do not need a bachelor's degree.
- Do not apply if you have never used CAD tools before.
