Dharma Manjari is an independent spiritual and educational initiative dedicated to making Samskritam, Hindu scriptures, and Sanatana Dharma accessible through guided Shloka recitations, meaningful translations, and explanations.

Role Description

A creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with a genuine interest in Sanatana Dharma is sought to create short videos (1–1.5 minutes each) featuring Sanskrit Shlokas and their English translations. All content will be provided; research, writing, and translation are not required. The editing process will utilize a fixed, reusable video template. This is a flexible, work-from-home opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit 3 Instagram Reels per week, each approximately 60–90 seconds long.
• Arrange provided Sanskrit Shlokas and English translations into a clean, visually appealing video format.
• Develop or refine a reusable editing template that maintains Dharma Manjari’s visual identity.
• Synchronize text, audio, transitions, and simple motion graphics.
• Create an attractive thumbnail/cover image for each video.
• Design a simple Call-to-Action (CTA) graphic.
• Ensure accurate spelling, proper text placement, readability, and consistency.
• Make necessary adjustments based on feedback.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Ability to create clean text animations, transitions, and simple graphics.
• A good understanding of visual composition, typography, and social media video formats.
• Attention to detail, particularly with Sanskrit Shlokas and translations.
• Ability to follow a consistent design template and deliver videos on schedule.
• An interest in Sanatana Dharma, Sanskrit, Hindu scriptures, or Indian spiritual traditions is highly preferred.
• Prior experience editing spiritual or educational content is an advantage, but not compulsory.

• Creativity, sincerity, and willingness to learn are important.

Work Structure & Compensation

• Work Mode: 100% Remote
• Workload: 3 videos per week (approx. 12 videos per month)
• Video Duration: 1–1.5 minutes per video
• Monthly Compensation: ₹3,000
• Payment Schedule: Weekly payments
• Growth Opportunities: Compensation may increase based on editing quality, consistency, creativity, and video performance.
