Design Engineer

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role based in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine mechanical and electro-mechanical designs for custom-engineered equipment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Create and review CAD models and drawings.
• Perform design calculations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams.
• Support prototyping and testing activities.
• Translate customer requirements into practical product designs.
• Resolve design-related issues during production.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
• Optimize designs for performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).

Qualifications

• Strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills.
• Mechanical Engineering expertise, including knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
• Foundational Electrical Engineering understanding for integrating electrical components into mechanical designs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environments is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality standards is beneficial.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Hyderabad.
