Full-stack / Platform Engineer

About the Role

MotionLabs is seeking a motivated MERN Stack Developer Intern to build real-world products, solve engineering challenges, and contribute to products used by real customers. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on live projects, develop practical engineering skills, and collaborate with a team building modern, scalable solutions. This is a paid internship with the opportunity for Full-Time Conversion (PPO) based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Build scalable features for B2B SaaS products.
• Develop and integrate AI-powered workflows and business automations.
• Design and integrate REST APIs and work with databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Test, debug, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and accelerate development.
• Collaborate with the team to plan, develop, and ship production-ready features.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong fundamentals in the MERN Stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and database concepts.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Interest in AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT.

• Undergraduate students pursuing a relevant degree.
• Fresh graduates looking to gain hands-on industry experience.
