This is a part-time, remote role for an Online CELPIP Trainer.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver live online sessions.
• Guide learners through all CELPIP modules.
• Provide targeted practice and feedback on listening, reading, writing, and speaking tasks.
• Prepare lesson plans.
• Use digital tools and learning resources.
• Evaluate student performance.
• Offer individualized improvement strategies.
• Create or adapt practice materials.
• Monitor learner progress.
• Maintain professional, supportive communication with candidates.
• Collaborate with the academic team to refine teaching methods and share best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong English language proficiency and clear communication skills, including excellent command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Skills in online teaching and classroom facilitation, including the ability to manage virtual sessions, engage learners, and explain complex concepts in simple terms.
• Familiarity with CELPIP test format and strategies, including experience preparing learners for language proficiency exams such as CELPIP, IELTS, or similar tests.
• Digital literacy skills, including comfort with video conferencing platforms, online whiteboards, learning management systems, and basic document and presentation tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to plan lessons, track learner progress, and handle multiple batches or students.
• A bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant teaching certifications or prior test-prep experience are an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work remotely in a self-directed manner, with a reliable internet connection and a professional online teaching environment.
• Empathy, patience, and a learner-centered mindset, with a commitment to supporting diverse candidates in achieving their overseas study and work goals.
