Turo Operations Specialist / Vehicle Detailer

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Detailing: Deep cleaning of interiors (vacuuming, shampooing upholstery, sanitizing) and exteriors (washing, waxing, cleaning engine bays).
• Inspections & Documentation: Taking high-quality photos of the vehicle’s condition via smartphone for the Turo host app to document damage, mileage, and fuel levels.
• Logistics & Maintenance: Transporting vehicles for refueling, tire shop, mechanic shop and checking fluid levels or tire pressure.
• Customer Experience: Ensuring vehicles are staged for pickup and clearing previous guest data from infotainment systems.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic smartphone proficiency for app-based reporting.
• High attention to detail and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in auto detailing or vehicle cleaning at an auto detailing facility or car wash environment is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle paint correction techniques and exterior washing best practices.
• Experience with interior vehicle detailing including vacuuming, upholstery cleaning, and dashboard maintenance.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience that emphasizes attention to detail and maintaining cleanliness standards.
