About the Role
7-Eleven is seeking an Area Leader Trainee for a fast-paced retail sales environment. This role directly oversees 12-14 store locations and focuses on training employees to provide exceptional customer service. The training program typically lasts 12 months, leading to a key operational role.
Key Responsibilities
- Staffing, training, and supervising Store Leaders
- Implementing merchandising programs
- Controlling cash and inventory
- Motivating and teambuilding
- Promoting excellent customer service
- Managing profit and loss, including budget planning
- Maximizing sales and controlling expenses
- Setting performance goals and objectives
- Monitoring results with upper management
Requirements & Tech Stack
- A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in a related field OR 5+ years of experience managing district or regional operations for retail/commercial, or a large single commercial store with multiple managers and 100+ employees.
- A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence
- Maintaining automotive liability insurance during the course of employment
- Ability to multi-task
- Self-motivated
- Perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
- Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- Previous multi-unit management experience is preferred.
- Experience working as a multi-unit operations manager.
Compensation
- $43,888.00 - $91,944.00 Annual
